USD/ILS coverage & file size, timeframe by timeframe

Every USD/ILS timeframe shares the same 2016-12-15 start date, but not the same scale — coarser candles stay small while tick and intraday files grow fast. Current through 2026-08-01:

Working with the USD/ILS series

The shekel's modern history is tech-flow strength punctuated by geopolitical shocks: years of appreciation on Israel's current-account and investment inflows, then abrupt risk repricing — October 2023 pushed the pair to multi-year highs within days before central-bank intervention pulled it back. The series starts end-2016. Event-window behaviour dominates the tails here; a volatility model that hasn't seen the October 2023 window understates them.

What's inside the USD/ILS file

One row per candle; tick files instead carry timestamp, bid, ask on every quote. All timestamps are UTC. Worked examples and import steps are in the CSV & JSON format guide.
