What it is

MarketData Hub is a free web app for downloading historical price data — from raw tick quotes to monthly OHLC candles — for 265+ instruments across forex, cryptocurrencies, stock indices, commodities, bonds, ETFs and individual shares. You can browse and preview every instrument's full history with no account; downloads are covered by inexpensive prepaid credits measured in years of data, and a free account starts with one year.

How it relates to dukascopy-node

The data is retrieved through dukascopy-node, the popular open-source library for fetching historical data from Dukascopy Bank SA. MarketData Hub puts a fast, friendly interface on top of that pipeline — instrument search, date and timeframe pickers, server-side file generation and direct CSV/JSON export — so you don't need to install or script anything to get clean data.

Why it exists

Clean, long-range historical data is the foundation of any serious backtest, model or study, yet it's often locked behind paywalls, signups or rate limits. MarketData Hub exists to make that data genuinely accessible to traders, quants, students and developers — one place, every major asset class, no signup to look around.
