Working with the EUR/CZK series
The Czech National Bank held a floor under this pair — koruna capped near 27 to the euro — from November 2013 to April 2017, and this series begins inside that regime: the tick archive's first fifteen months and the daily file's opening quarter show policy, not price discovery. After the April 2017 exit the koruna resumed floating and volatility returned. Any statistics computed across the whole series mix the two states; split at the floor exit.
